In 2012 the EcoVillage in Ithaca, NY broke ground on their third residential neighborhood, “TREE,” a community consisting of 15 apartments, and 25 single-family residences. Having worked on the other two communities, SWA was brought into the project to support the implementation of the Passive House design, and to provide third-party verification for LEED and ENERGY STAR certifications.
