SBIC Green Building Guidelines
SBIC tools emphasize a whole building approach and the dynamic interaction of all its design considerations. SWA staff has assisted the organization in developing and publishing documents such as the Green Building Guidelines: Meeting the Demand for Low-Energy, Resource-Efficient Homes; workshop series such as Design Strategies for Low-Energy, Sustainable, Secure Buildings (delivered to hundreds of federal managers for the Federal Energy Management Program), and broad-based building initiatives, such as the High Performance School Buildings program, which included a resource and strategy guide, online training, and workshops.
