Theresa D’Andrea is an Accessibility Consulting Director at SWA with specialized expertise in the complex scoping and technical requirements of federal, state, and local laws and codes governing accessibility compliance. She conducts plan reviews and field inspections and provides team trainings and technical support for new and existing multifamily residential projects across the United States. She is certified by the International Code Council as an Accessibility Inspector and Plans Examiner.

Theresa provides litigation consulting to attorneys representing high-profile developers and agencies cited for large-scale and widespread noncompliance of regulatory requirements for accessible design and construction. She conducts inspections to assess items of noncompliance identified as part of litigation and works with project teams to develop remediation strategies to address noncompliance.

Theresa also contributes to Inclusive Design services including project audits, plan reviews, and design recommendations to help project teams create equitable and inclusive environments.
