Transforming an underutilized block near Times Square into a vibrant, mixed-use development with NGBS Silver certification

Lush interior courtyard at 312 West 43rd Street

Project Overview

This new construction project encompasses 350,000 SF of mixed-use and residential space in the Clinton Preservation District within Hell’s Kitchen. The development required a long-term lease with the 1199SIEU Health Care Workers Union to develop the block into 330 luxury rental apartments and prominent retail areas.

Notable sustainability features include a high-performing thermal envelope, energy recovery ventilation, drought-tolerant vegetation, and water-efficient fixtures.

The project is certified NGBS Silver—a program selected for its alignment with investor sustainability and ESG requirements. The design emphasizes health and wellness through biophilic elements, abundant natural light, and peaceful amenity spaces.
